Vintage Political Real Photograph Postcard; Depiction of President John F. Kennedy with surrounding text, HIS CHALLENGE IS OURS - JOIN THE REVITALIZATION CORPS, NY.  Online research shows that this organization was started in Hartford, CT in 1963 by a 23 year old recent college graduate Edward T. "Ned" Cole.  Ned started the grassroots organization in memory of assasinated President John F. Kennedy.  The group acted as an advocate and aid for the poor and disadvantaged.  They tutored youngsters, marched underprivileged youth onto elite Connecticut beaches otherwise unavailable to them, campaigned against violence in their city, and more.  Ned embraced Kennedy's famous quote; "Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country" and he took that inspiration to action.
