This Brown Viton O Ring set includes the following O-Rings: 20 pieces each for dash sizes 006, 007, 008, 009, 010, 011, and 012; 13 pieces each for dash sizes 110, 111, 112, 113, 114, 115, and 116; 10 pieces each for dash sizes 210, 211, 212, 213, 214, 215, 216, 217, 218, 219, 220, 221, and 222; 7 pieces each for dash sizes 325, 326, and 327. Deciding on what elastomer for your application can be difficult. Choose Viton fluoroelastomer when you want an O-ring that's compressible like Kalrez but will stand up to low temperatures. Brown Viton O Rings by Sterling Seal & Supply resist boric and citric acids, ketones, hydrocarbons, and animal and vegetable by products. Temperature range is -10 to 400 F. Low swelling in ASTM No 1, and IRM 902 and IRM 903. Excellent resistance to aging and ozone - Low gas permeability, low compression set VITON provides excellent resistance to penetration, weather and compression set requirements. When installed, seals must resist taking a set from compression, when a seal takes a set, it no longer exerts force on the mating surfaces, resulting in leakage. A compound with low compression set, like our Brown 75-durometer fluorocarbon compound, better maintains its elastomeric properties and original thickness, preserving seal integrity. These seals provide excellent resistance to compression set at higher temperatures.
