FREE SHIPPING - AS USUAL
Original 1906 (dated Spt. 1906 in ink, upper lh corner) real photo postcard RPPC showing a really nice park scene; card was published in Portsmouth New Hampshire by St. Clair's Studio. Further inked ID says Masonic Park, Electa." . . . . . . BUT . . . I have it on excellent authority that this park is NOT in Portsmouth; St Clair was a fairly large operation and this card could show a Masonic Park anywhere in New England (or perhaps even beyond).
Perhaps the park is in Rochester (New York) where the card was postmarked?
Monument is to the Civil War dead (see scan #5).
Electa has long been a very important figure in Masonic and OES lore.
Although card is not well identified it does have St Clair's studio "signature" (NOT AUTOGRAPHED) in the negative at the bottom right hand corner and is postmarked ROCHESTER - presumably Rochester New York.
